What is a workshop?
It’s a shopwindow for a concept or an idea and implies that some work will be done. Workshops are one aspect of training. They are often seen as the educational part of the equation. Workshops are used to provide an introduction and are the exploratory phase of a potentially wider and deeper training initiative.
Expectations?
Expectations on potential outcomes need to be carefully managed between the client and the deliverer.
Facilitation?
The key to a successful workshop will come down to the skill of the facilitator chosen. ‘The Art of Facilitation’* is to make things easy. All the Perfect Team’s facilitators have been licensed, trained, and coached to deliver our workshops to the highest standards. Net Promotor scores of 46 and above is the norm.

Commitment?
The final stage of every workshop is to create commitment and get cast iron agreements on who is going to do what, who’s responsible for what, and what the next steps are. This all needs to be clearly defined, minutes taken and communicated.
No actions – No meeting of minds occurred.
An aside:
Have you ever been in a meeting and left thinking to yourself, “Well that’s good. They didn’t really finish with a call to action, and I’ve got off Scot free!” That’s because there was not an assertive finale looking for action and people to take responsibility for doing something. Whatever we do, we ensure that there’s always plenty of time for an effective finish. As they say in sales – ‘There’s no point having a million-dollar presentation with a ten-cent close!’ We make sure that you have a million-dollar close to your workshop and that it seals the contract between you and your team.
Time?
Workshops can be tailored to a ninety-minute, half-day, or full-day format.
